Christian, do you RENEW your mind?

When you were dead In Adam, you were a slave to sin, the power of sin worked in you. When you came to Christ, you were made alive in Christ. The power of sin was broken but it didn’t mean that you would no longer sin. You have a choice!

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

Are you an idolater, an adulterer, a homosexual, a prostitute, a drunkard, a murderer, a thief, etc.., and yet, a believer in Jesus Christ? 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 warns plainly that such will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God.

If you are addicted to anything worldly and seek for God’s help, you must also be willing to cooperate with God. When Jesus died on your behalf, you were saved by grace through faith; it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8). Now marching forth to a Christian lifestyle, you MUST bear good fruits (Galatians 5:22-23); change nature (Romans 12:2). You must be willing to change your mind though. If you are addicted to porn, You must WANT to change. If you are an alcoholic, You must DESIRE to change. If you are a gambler, a thief, a liar, selfish, unforgiving, disobedient to parents or anything else, you must be WILLING to change.

Turning from the world demands the desire to do so! It’s a command from God to change nature. You MUST turn from the world though. If not, your fate will be the same as Satan and his minions; hell was prepared for them (Matthew 25:41). No one escapes hell once he or she arrives there. You MUST understand that there is no more changing of mind after death. Hell is a place of fire and torment (Luke 16:22-24). The fire is never quenched out and the worms never die (Mark 9:48).

Believing in Jesus Christ is NOT enough. Even Satan believes in Him and trembles (James 2:19).

In Luke 9:23 Jesus declares “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” Jesus continues down to verse 24 “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.”

Who do you desire: the eternal God, or the temporal world? 1 John 2:17 declares: And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Jesus says “Repent and sin no more” (Luke 13:1-9; Mark 6:12)

The first teaching of Jesus was to repent . “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” -Matthew 4:17

Many understand the term “repentance” as “a turning away from sin”. This is NOT the Scriptural definition of repentance. In the Bible, the word “repent” means to “change your mind” (Romans 12:2).

My dear friend, If you don’t acknowledge sin you don’t acknowledge God; if you don’t have a new relationship with sin you surely don’t have a new relationship with God.

2 Corinthians 5:17 says “Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things are passed away; behold, new things have come.” That verse applies to whoever is IN Christ. My dear friend, are you in Christ? Are you Christ [Bible] minded?
If you sin voluntarily knowing hell is for anyone who PRACTICES such (1 John 3:8). Jesus will NOT die a second time according to Hebrews 9:28.

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” -Luke13:5.
